GSG was honored to be a finalist for the Association for Corporate Growth- Maryland's 5th annual "Deal of the Year" Award for our merger with Barry B. Bondroff, CPA, Joseph A. Liberman, CPA, MS and the other professional staff from Grabush, Newman & Co., P.A. The award recognizes business deals that have impacted our region and the key participants involved in the transaction.

GSG earned another (our third in four years!), Marketing Achievement Award — in the category of ‘Event Marketing/Seminars’ at the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) annual conference in San Diego, California. Ronald D. Rudich, Director of Business Valuations, Machinery/Equipment Valuations and Litigation Support--CPA/ABV, MS, CVA --- was honored as one of the Top CPAs in Maryland in the SmartCEO Magazine for 2008. Selected from more than 40 firms across the country. GSG was featured as cover story and winner of the Practical Accountant Practice Innovation Award. The award recognizes GSG as a "cutting edge" firm with enhancement of the Labor/Employee Benefits Plan niche. September 2007 issue of SmartCEO magazine has selected W. James Schiller, Director and co-founder of GSG, as one of Greater Baltimore's "Top CPAs".

Smart CEO magazine honors five of GSG’s accountants as the Top CPA’s in Maryland in the July 2006 issue of this notable Baltimore business publication.

The July 2005 issue of Smart CEO magazine honored three of the firm’s accountants on their list of Top CPAs in Maryland.

Practical Accountant magazine recognized GSG as one of only a handful of firms in the country with its Practice Innovation Award for Sept. 2005. The award was for the firm’s method of implementing paperless engagements.

GSG won a Marketing Achievement Award in the “Sales Presentations/Proposals” category, received during the 2006 Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) Conference in Denver, Colorado.

During the 2005 Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) Summit in Orlando, Florida — GSG won a Marketing Achievement Award in the “Niche Building Campaign” category.
