Scott has over 10 years experience in public accounting in the areas of financial statement preparation, audit and tax services. As an auditor and accountant, Scott provides valuable support to clients in streamlining and strengthening their internal controls and operating efficiencies. His understanding of the needs of labor unions, employee benefit plans and other not-for-profit organizations provide an opportunity for him to help these types of clients manage their organizations more effectively. Additionally, he is team leader of the firm’s Labor/ Employee Benefit Plans service area.
In 2006, Scott was named one of Baltimore’s “Top 50 Accountants” in Smart CEO Magazine.
Scott received his B.S. in accounting from Towson State University in 1997 and his M.S. in Taxation from the University of Baltimore in 2001. He received his CPA certification in 1998.
Scott is treasurer of Paul’s Place, Inc., located in southwest Baltimore. Paul’s Place is an outreach center that provides quality of life services, programs and resources for the community. |
